A confident, loyal and hardworking person with significant experience in Construction, looking to move down a new career path in Barbering. Currently working towards a Level 2 in Barbering, I am looking for an opportunity to develop my skills further and showcase my abilities in a fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Worked as a qualified and experienced banksman on various projects and developments
I was responsible for signalling to ensure safe loading and unloading of construction materials on cranes and mobile platforms
Communicated effectively with the crane operators to ensure the safety and balance of loads
The work involved a great deal of awareness of safe operations and good and timely communications with other colleagues and operatives

Duties and Responsibilities:

Worked as a traffic marshal on building sites ensuring the security of the pedestrians and the working staff
Controlled the traffic of HGV vehicles and the cranes whilst making risk assessment of manoeuvring task
Planned, guided and conducted the manoeuvre and direction of the vehicles, clearing any obstructions from the path and looking out for any obstacle or distraction for the driver
Ensured a wider environmental awareness, by watching out for people and vehicles in the area

Duties and Responsibilities:

Worked as part of various commercial companies driving HGV vehicles
Picking up and driving goods to specified destinations across Eritrea & Africa
Planned and scheduled  journey times
Maintained the vehicles and ensured the safety & security of the driver’s assistant and other motorists on the road
Driving in heavy traffic and unsociable hours
