Was full time with Next retail in Selly Oak, as a Home wear Manager. In this roll I have managed staff, done staff rotas, floor rotas and distributing jobs within the day. I have also worked on the delivery and replenishment team ensuring all clothing items are ordered and stock is updated, working within tight deadlines and ensuring high standards are met and the delivery is done by a set time scale. Barber
A Vintage British barber shop, with a big MOD and Rocker influence which gave me the opportunity to home in on my skills to do cuts of this style. The Mod or Paul Weller cut is a talent in its self and a proud moment as a barber to achieve with repeat custom. Here I expanded my knowledge on product, using a lot of Pomades (mainly Uppercut, Layrite, Suavecito) and the amazing finish they can bring.

Manager/Barber
This Shop was mainly corporate styles as the majority of customers were businessmen. At this shop I worked often on my own which has gave me an insight in to owning my own business in the future, it was fantastic to have so much customer compliments not only on the hair cuts being given but also on the work I had done to the shop. Using my commercial side gained from years of retail to its fullest.
Sadly the only reason for my leaving was wages were not being paid.
